TACTICC's Mission Statement
The Arts Coming Together In Carroll County, Inc. (TACTICC) is a non-profit organization which seeks to provide an avenue for artistic endeavors in the form of annual theatrical productions. TACTICC seeks to support arts education, promote character and social development, and provide performing arts opportunities. The above will be achieved through the formation of four platforms: a summer theatre program, a traveling children’s theatre show, arts education classes throughout the year, and a summer camp program. By combining every art to be explored in one space with the emerging field of interactive theatre, TACTICC will allow the community to serve as more than passive observers. This original style of performing arts will be a catalyst for a symbiotic relationship of actor-audience working together toward a common goal. This interchange of ideas and passions will result in something more than can be contained by the stage; and that is the realization of a shared dream.
Core Objectives:
To Educate individuals and the greater community about the significance and technique of varying artistic expressions, including theatre, dance, music, art and cinematography.
To Utilize family entertainment to appeal to a broad audience base.
To Perform and Produce a variety of shows that raise awareness of our mission and a general appreciation for the creative arts.
To Employ the creative arts as a tool to engage in large and small scale community building and strengthening.
To Give back to the community annually through charitable performances and donations.
To Provide an outlet for the free expression of the brimming creativity of Carroll County.
To Inspire the community of Carroll County through the use of various creative art modalities.
To Create lasting memories within the hearts of all participants that ensures the mission is something to be revered rather than accomplished.
